Terrible redesign of a formerly awesome shoe
The original real flex shoes were awesome. My 11 year old son has been wearing pair after pair for serval years and they have always been the most perfect athletic shoe for an active kid his age. This redesign features a cheap, plastic-y substitution for the toe area fabric formerly used and they are just not the same. Why even mess with a style that was so popular and functional? I returned these shoes immediately knowing they wouldn't last more than a week before toes would poke through the top and they would fall apart. Nike has really dropped the ball on design and Reebok was really coming through for the consumer. Sorry to say based on the horrid new designs by Reebok we will have to keep looking for that awesome shoe to take the place of the original real flex. Really disappointed.
