Tight around the metatarsals.
The shoes are comfortable. I noticed that it is a bit tight around the metatarsal area. It is good enough for walking around the mall. But since I work a 16 hour shift per day 3 times a week, it didn't give me the cushion my feet needs walking around the hospital. I thought adding insole padding would help the impact on my heel. It just made the shoes feel tighter. I usually get size 9. I should've gotten the next bigger size.
