Lochcelious's Reviews
The ATV19+ brings cushioned outriggers, an irregular lug pattern and a banked feel for earth-shaking traction and high speed stability.

Tackle The Moon
As an aspiring scientist (astrophysics/astrobiology), I was excited when I saw this shoe (I purchased the black and blue scheme). Upon receiving them and trying them on, I immediately noticed the amazing comfort these shoes provide me. I have rather flat feet (6 foot, 208 pounds), and felt no pain but quite a bit of support. The "lugs" flatten and displace your weight evenly across the bottom of the shoe, giving a great sense of balance. Each show has 19 "lugs", five of which are round and run down the middle of the sole. The other 14 make up the outer edges of the sole but are more oblong shaped to prevent rolled ankles and apply more traction. Many critics and reviews might state that these shoes are ugly, so let it be known that the following still rings true: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love the look of these things. I'm dorky, nerdy, geeky, you name it (hey, I'm trying to become a scientist here!), and I absolutely love the design. These shoes look ready to tackle Olympus Mons on Mars. Not to mention the heads you'll turn: these shoes are bound to get others talking. The shoes come with black or blue laces, your choice. I chose the blue laces, as I felt they better compliment the shoe. Durability surpassed my assumptions as the heel and toe (not to mention the "lugged" sole) are all very durable and tough. Running is a breeze, and so is jumping. A downside in my opinion is that they don't breathe enough (in my opinion), but that is alright, as feet need to be uncovered to air out everyday (feet should not be covered all the time; heed this warning, take care of your feet [never sleep with socks]!). Overall, I'd give them a 4.8 out of 5 stars, but 5 will do.
