I ordered these shoes after careful research. I am not an extreme exerciser but just do low impact and basic cardio dvd's at home to stay in shape. Having to exercise in a room at home with carpet, it was suggested on one site that dance shoes could allow pivot and slide type movements easier on carpet than conventional cross training shoes which are more "grabby". So, I took a chance with these shoes and they are perfect., plus they are nice looking too!
