 Reebok CrossFit Gloves II
Reebok CrossFit Gloves II
Version 2 of the CrossFit Glove has improved durablilty and comfort. The palm of the glove is still made of extremely durable sheepskin leather now perforated in the palm and the fingers for even more breathability. The thumb is now wrapped with an extra layer of leather to provide additonal reinforcement and abrasion resistance. The leather also now extends around finger tips for the same additional abrasion resistance. The back of the hand utilizes the same lightweight polyester lycra material providing comfort and flexibility. The base of each individual finger is constructed from a lightweight textile for additional articulation and breathability. The strap at the wrist is even more rugged allowing the wearer to lock down the glove for added security. The glove is recommended for all CrossFit movements but especially useful for protecting hands on rope climbs, muscle ups and barbell complexes where hands can be easily damaged.

Better than getting your hands torn up
These gloves protect your hands when doing stuff on the rig, which is great, and what gloves are supposed to do. They are lightweight and breathable when using them during a WOD, and overall I would recommend them. The gloves run small, and the thumb and forefinger are cut too short. I ordered both the medium and the large, and found the same issue with both sizes. Also, the seaming on the forefinger is slightly uncomfortable, but this may be due in part to the fact that the finger length is too short. I would recommend other color choices - not every woman wants to wear purple or hot pink. Also, white leather palms may not be the best choice as most rigs and bars are pretty filthy. And, like another reviewer, I would suggest adding some sort of silicone or no-slip tab on the top back portion of the thumb for the hook grip.
